Aklan is located at the northwestern part of Panay Island. This beautiful province can be reached via air or sea. It is about 45 minutes away from Manila and 35 minutes from Cebu by airplane. It takes about 15 hours from Manila and 18 hours from Cebu when you are going to travel it by sea.
Kalibo is the Capital of the Province of Aklan. The Ati-atihan Festival held here every third week of January. The Ati-atihan festival is a celebration the Aklans culture and rich history. Every year, it draws visitors from all over the country and even visitors from other parts of the world.
The province of Aklan is packed with interesting places to visit. These ranges from beautiful white sand beaches, vast caves to magnificent waterfalls and springs.
